IB World School
WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that works with a network of over 2000 schools in 131 countries worldwide.
Each IB World School is unique, but all are united by their goal of helping students develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills that will enable them to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
THE INQUIRY APPROACH TO LEARNING
The heart of the IB program is structured inquiry as a vehicle for learning. Teachers use guiding questions as a starting point and encourage students to wonder, explore and investigate, thus actively involving children in their own learning. The approach engages children's natural curiosity and empowers them with the skills to become successful and life long learners.
