Mrs. Leticia Contreras (3rd)
My name is Mrs. Leticia Contreras and I’m excited to be a part of the Sunnybrae community! This is my first year teaching at Sunnybrae School. Prior to coming to Sunnybrae, I worked at San Carlos School District for 11 years. I was born in the Bay Area and have lived here for most of my life, and attended local schools, from elementary school through high school. Like many of our students, my primary language is Spanish and I was and English Learner when I began elementary school. I attended William Jessup University, where I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in teaching, and a multiple subject teaching credential. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, baking and going to the beach.
If you are a parent of a student in my room and haven’t joined my Class Dojo, you can email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. I use Class Dojo to communicate important information to parents, as well as share what students are doing in room 15. Class Dojo’s also a quick and easy way to send me a message and get a quick response!
